If you spend eight hours a day in your garden office it is important that it is finished in your own personal style.

THE INTERNAL FINISH 

Plastered walls.

Inside InsideOut garden home offices you will find traditional plasterboard and skim walls. A professionally plastered wall gives a simple, elegant surface finish and helps with sound insulation.
When we have finished plastering, leave a window ajar and the plaster in your office will be dry and ready to paint within a few days.

Painting
For great garden office colours and eco-friendly paint that doesn’t contain any vinyl, we suggest that you use low toxicity water based emulsion paint such as Farrow and Ball's Estate Emulsion or an organic paint from Ecos. See our links page.

Doors and windows

The doors and windows in all of our garden home offices and granny flats are fully finished with a water based stain in the colour of your choice.

Shelves and pictures
The timber frame construction of our garden offices allows you to attach pictures, shelves and other fittings directly to the walls. We will explain to you how to do this on completion of your garden office. 

THE EXTERNAL FINISH

Natural Finish
Larch can be left to weather naturally to a silvery colour, or if you prefer your garden office to retain a golden 'new wood' look or a dark oak finish, you can stain it with wood stains.

Coloured finishes.
Alternatively larch takes brightly coloured stains very well.
