Low Maintenance.
Larch heartwood is traditionally used for cladding in Scotland and northern Europe. The larch we use to protect our UK garden offices and granny flats come from the centre of the tree, where the fibres are densely packed. This density combined with larch’s natural resins means that no chemicals or wood preservatives are needed. Thus reducing the environmental impact of the building.
Coloured stains can be used on heartwood larch to great effect.
